Mórfou

Mórfou, also known as Morphou or Güzelyurt, is a town located in the northwestern part of Cyprus, under the de facto control of Northern Cyprus. Historically a Greek Cypriot community, it is now inhabited by Turkish Cypriots. The town is renowned for its agricultural produce, particularly oranges, apples, and other citrus fruits, many of which are exported or processed locally. Mórfou hosts an annual Orange Festival, a major event that celebrates its citrus heritage and lasts for two weeks, attracting visitors interested in local culture and festivities.
