Leopoldshöhe

Leopoldshöhe is a municipality in the Lippe district of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, with approximately 16,000 inhabitants. Situated north of the Teutoburger Wald range, it consists of eight formerly independent municipalities. The area offers a mix of suburban convenience and rural charm, with a well-developed infrastructure including supermarkets and specialized shops. Located just 10 km from Bielefeld, it provides easy access to urban amenities while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. The southern and central parts have a suburban feel with some industrial zones, whereas the northern area remains primarily rural. Asemissen, part of Leopoldshöhe, is conveniently located near the A2 autobahn and has railway connections to Bielefeld, Detmold, and Lemgo.
