Located over 400 kilometers east-southeast of Perth, Frank Hann National Park is a pristine, undeveloped wilderness area within the Shire of Lake Grace. Named after the early explorer Frank Hann, the park is defined by its expansive inland sandplains, heathland, and scrubland. It is a haven for biodiversity, hosting a wide array of flora such as unique Banksia and Acacia species. Wildlife enthusiasts can spot various reptiles, including the marbled gecko and crested dragon, alongside mammals like the western grey kangaroo and the rare western quoll. Birdwatchers will also find plenty to observe, with species ranging from the Australian bustard to the Nankeen kestrel.
